Tree of Life Series
The Tree of Life Series is a result of a desire for healing in the war-torn Middle East. The political awareness of the quilt series was prompted by a verse from Revelation 22:2, “…and the leaves of the tree are for the healing of the nations.“
Daniel Series
After a study on the book of Daniel, Ottinger set about making unique wall hangings to illustrate each of the 12 chapters of the book. Using vibrant colors, textures, and patterns, she demonstrates her talent for incorporating quirky mixed media that enhances the stories told by her spiritual quilts. The exquisitely detailed quilts show her artful, meticulous sewing skills.
These unique quilts are inspired by various biblical stories and references. Most are small in size; many are Three Dimensional, colorful, and captivating.
