Another Tree of Life Quilt

This week at the prompting of a friend, I made another tree of life quilt. Years ago, I had the famous artist, Gregory Amenoff, critique my work. I told him I kept making trees of life and asked when I should stop making them. He wisely answered, "When you don't need to make them anymore." I guess I still need to make them after all these years.

In this is one I batiked a tree on a white handkerchief, then added fabric leaves with beads. It only needs a binding and it will be done.
